Power Finance Corporation (PFC) reported a 21% jump in Q1 FY26 net profit to ₹4,502 crore, with net interest income (NII) rising 26% to ₹5,469 crore. The company declared a ₹3.70 interim dividend, with a record date of August 18.
PFC has continued to finance India’s ambitious clean energy push while supporting state discom reforms. Its lending portfolio remains diversified across conventional and renewable power. “PFC is increasingly aligning with green finance frameworks,” said an official from the power ministry.
With stable asset quality and rising disbursements, PFC is seen as a steady growth engine for the sector.
