Suzlon Energy is preparing to export wind turbines to Central Asia and Europe, with orders expected by year-end and deliveries within 12 months. This marks Suzlon’s boldest global push in over a decade.
“We are no longer just an Indian company. Our technology and scale can compete globally once again,” said Chairman Tulsi Tanti. The focus comes as Central Asia reduces reliance on Russia and Europe seeks alternatives to Chinese turbine suppliers.
Execution credibility remains key after Suzlon’s past financial struggles. Yet, analysts say its cost-efficient turbines and India’s domestic content rules give it competitive strength.
